2006
- Created a new version of www.decorgrates.com
- Launched a flush mount range of louvered natural wood registers in oak, maple and cherry
2005
- Introduced Cherry and Birch natural woods in a heritage louvered design
- Decor Tiles launched as a complimentary range of products in brass, aluminum and bronze
2004
- Launched Art Deco, Oriental and Abstract designs in a wide variety of sizes, materials and finishes
- Decor Grates obtained ISO 9001, 2000 Certification.

- Moved to 80,000 square foot facility in North of Toronto, Canada
- Profit 100 Canada 's Fastest Growing Companies in 2003 by BMO Bank of Montreal
- Tiki Oosterhuis named One of the Top 100 Women Business Owners [#21] in Canada , as ranked by Chatelaine and PROFIT Magazine

- Tiki Oosterhuis named One of the Top 100 Women Business Owners [#34] in Canada , as ranked by Chatelaine and PROFIT Magazine

- Major innovation as replaced traditional steel damper box with rust proof damper boxes
- Offered a lifetime warranty

- Developed a range of wall registers
1998
- Nominated as the “Exporter of the year award” by Vaughan Chamber of Commerce
- NEXT 100 ranking, placing it as one of the 200 fastest-growing companies in Canada
- Developed plastic injection moulds for the North America market
- Tri-lingual packaging was introduced
- Purchased Best Dressed Homes, a company that produced plastic registers
- Created a range of wood registers. By using a CNC router, the labor costs were reduced and manufacturing capabilities included slotted and scroll designs

- Entered the retail and mass merchandising marketplace
1990
- Decor Grates was created to manage the ever expanding decorative floor register market.
1988
- Designed new styles, materials and sizes beyond the signature brass “Decor Scroll” register
- Began to sell and market into USA
1986
- The first metal stamping dies were made. Although expensive, grates could be mass produced at a reasonable rate
1983
- Decorative floor registers were introduced by Creative Antiques, the predecessor of Decor Grates
